Students at Woodstock Elementary kicked off summer spirit with an exciting Camp Day on June 12!

Grade 5 students created an amazing carnival experience featuring homemade games they designed and built themselves. Armed with "passport" tickets, younger students traveled from activity to activity, collecting punches along the way before earning a special prize at the end.

Meanwhile, the library was transformed into a cozy campfire reading retreat, complete with a simulated campfire and the opportunity for students to browse and select free books. By the end of the day, each student had taken home an impressive 11 books!

Organized by reading teachers Nicole Polacco, Andrew Vail, and Kelly McClean; math teacher Natalie Urciuoli; Grade 1 teacher Cassie Kothe; and Grade 5 teacher Karli Denter. Camp Day provided a wonderful opportunity for students to relax, have fun, and celebrate the start of summer together. The carnival games were a huge hit, and the entire event was filled with smiles, laughter, and excitement.
